FALZARANO, George M. of Saugus, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. He was 79 years old. Born in Northfield, Vermont, George lived in Saugus for many years. He was a graduate of Salem State College and taught English and woodworking at the Somerville School System. Beloved husband of Joan D. (Campagnone). Dear and devoted father of Thomas Falzarano and his wife, Stacey of FL; Charles Falzarano and his wife, Kory of Lakeville; George Falzarano and his wife, Melanie Desiderio of Whitman; Maryellen Falzarano of Everett; Theresa Tao and her husband, David of Saugus and Joanne Falzarano of Saugus. Brother of Jackie Smith of NH; Shirley Ann Stevens of NH; and the late Frank and George Falzarano. Also surviving are 10 loving grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend George's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, May 6 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home Saturday at 7:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Margaret's Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 9 a.m. Interment with military honors at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
