BATEMAN, Evelyn E. "Tudie" of Wilmington, entered into rest on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 94 years of age. Born in Everett, Evelyn lived in Everett for many years before settling in Wilmington. She was a registered nurse, retiring from many Veterans Administration Hospitals. She was the beloved daughter of the late Hedley V. Bateman and Evelyn A. Brogin. Evelyn was the sister of the late Herbert Bateman and Helen Carabineris and the loving aunt of Gail Hoenig of Wilmington. She served proudly in the United States Army during World War II.
