ALCIONE, Ethel R. of Malden, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 5, 2022 at home.  She was 94.  Born in Cambridge, Ethel lived in Malden for most of her life.   She worked for many years at John Hancock Life Insurance Company.  Beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (DiNitto) Alcione.  Dear and devoted sister of the late Edith Gelzenes, Lena Stefanelli, Susan Ciccariello, Frank, Ray, Domenic, Luigi and Cosmo Alcione.  Ethel is also survived by her niece, Debra A. Gelzenes, with whom she lived with and many other loving nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ethel's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Sunday, September 11 from 2-4 p.m.   Her funeral  will be from the funeral home Monday at 9 a.m.  followed by a funeral Mass in the Sacred Hearts Church,  315 Main St., Malden, at 10 a.m.  Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.  Parking with attendants on duty.
