SORDILLO, Ernest C. of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 30, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 94 years old. Born in Everett, Ernie was a lifelong resident. He was retired from the City of Everett as their Director of Public Welfare after many years of service. Beloved husband Genevieve L. (Boudreau) for over 69 years. Dear and devoted father of Ernest P. Sordillo and his companion, Kelly Doherty of Everett. Brother of the late Angelo, Joseph, Arthur, and Anthony Sordillo. Loving "Grampy" of Marissa Sordillo Gunn and her husband, Timothy and Gregory Sordillo all of East Boston and "Great-Grampy" of Giacobe Gunn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ernest's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, Nov. 2 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 10 a.m. Interment with U.S. Navy Military Honors in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
