ZENGA, Edward J. of Melrose entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Courtyard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Medford.  He was 86 year old.  Born in Boston, Ed lived in Melrose for a number of years.  He was a carpenter by profession.  He was the son of the late Anthony and Henrietta (Stoico) Zenga.  Beloved husband of Donna C (Tabb).  Dear and devoted father of Edward J. Zenga of Peabody and Karen Rizzo and her husband, Peter Flynn of S. Weymouth.  Brother of Daniel Zenga of Stoughton, Lorraine Lordon of Quincy and the late Anthony Zenga, Jr. and Henry Zenga.  Loving grandfather of Justin Rizzo, Samantha Rizzo, Jared Zenga, Olivia Zenga, Erika Zenga and Sara Zenga.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ed's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, April 24 from 4-7 p.m. A prayer service will be offered in the funeral home at 6 p.m.  Burial will be private. Ed served honorably in the U. S. Army.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward's memory to the New England Center and Home for  Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
