He was born in Somerville and resided in Malden for many years. He worked in machine design in the engineering field. Son of the late Vincent E. and Ethel (Veagus) Nelson. Former husband of Marie A. (Centrella) Campbell of Lynn. Dear and devoted father of David Vincent Nelson and his wife, Marie of Haverhill and Dawnmarie Nelson of Lynn. Brother of Lois Hubley and her husband, Paul of CT and the late Russell Nelson and his surviving wife, Patty of CA. Loving grandfather of Trevor, Avry and Ramsey Nelson and Julianna LeMay. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a funeral home service at 10 a.m. Interment Forestdale Cemetery, Malden.
