LeRAY, David J., Sr. of Alfred, ME., formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine. He was 89 years old. born in Everett, David was a longtime resident before settling in Maine the last several years. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University. Loving husband of his high school sweetheart, the late Barbara (MacKenzie) LeRay. Sorely missed by his children, David LeRay, Jr. and Peter LeRay and his wife, Mary of Everett, Linda Villalobos and her husband, Fran of Newburyport and Susan LeRay and her husband, Bill Wright of Alfred, ME. Also loved and missed by his twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. At David's request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oakes Road, Waltham, MA 02452 would be sincerely appreciated. David was the past owner and manager of the Sudbury Brass Goods specializing in church goods and past treasurer of the Chelsea Rotary Club, having been named Rotarian of the Year in 1980.
