LOYCANO, Charles F. of Everett, entered into rest on Monday, September 19, 2016 in the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. He was 86 years old. Charles was born in Everett on September 2, 1930 and was a lifelong resident. Beloved son of the late Frances (Oliveri) and John Loycano. Dear and devoted brother of Agnes Foye of Everett, John Loycano and his wife, Suzanne of Billerica, Robert Loycano and his wife, Ann of Framingham and the late Joseph Loycano. Charles is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Charles' visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, Sept. 22 from 4-7 p.m. . His funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by his funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charles' memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 18 Canton St., Stoughton, MA 02072 would be sincerely appreciated. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. For many years he also served with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, serving as Staff Officer-MA in District 1NR. He worked for General Electric as Foreman in the Apprentice Training Program and was Owner/Operator of Loyal Machine Company, Inc. in Boston and Chelsea. Charles was a member of the S-Kimos Ski Club of Jackson, NH and took great pleasure skiing and hiking with his friends in the White Mountains of NH and enjoyed boating in Boston and Salem Harbor and surrounding areas.
