CAVALIERE ALBERTO MUSTONE of Somerville, entered into eternal rest peacefully, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in the Care Dimensions Hospice House, Lincoln surrounded by the love of his family after a brief illness.  He was 67 years old.  Born in Melito Irpino, Avellino, Italy, Alberto carried his Italian heritage proudly throughout his entire life. He lived in Somerville for many years. After immigrating to the United States he built a beautiful life rooted in family, hardwork, faith, and community. His true life's work was the dedication he gave to preserving and celebrating the Italian culture and bringing countless people together.  He was a machinist by trade and worked for L K M Industries for many years.

Alberto was the loving son of the late Filippo Mustone and Rosa Contardo; the beloved husband of Antonietta (Cerbone) Mustone; the dear and devoted father of Philip Mustone and his wife, Melissa of Waltham and Christina Mustone of Waltham; the dear brother of Domenico Mustone and his wife, Filomena Barrasso of Italy; and the loving Nonno of Bianca Mustone, Matteo Alberto Mustone, Valentina Mustone and Cristiano DaVeiga. Alberto is also survived by countless friends in the many organizations he was affiliated with.  He was truly  a family man but one his greatest joys was being a Nonno to his 4 loving grandchildren.

Alberto is the President of the Club Italia, President of C.O.M.I.T.E.S. Boston, member of the Dante Alighieri Society, in 2015 was awarded the I Migliori Medal, and recently, was bestowed the honor of Cavaliere, by the Italian government.  Alberto became involved in many other organizations that promoted and fostered the Italian culture.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Cavaliere Alberto's visiting hours in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, Friday, June 5, 2026 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m..  His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in St. Catherine of Genoa Church  at 11:30 a.m.  Entombment at the Woodlawn Cemetery Community Mausoleum-Versailles, 302 Elm Street, Everett.
