TRANFAGLIA, Carmine of Medford, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 in the Chestnut Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Saugus after being in failing health.  He was 95 years old.  Born in Avellino, Italy, Carmine lived in Medford for many years.  He worked at a candy company.

Carmine was the dear son of the late Antonio Tranfaglia and Carolina D'Italia; the beloved husband of the late Maria (Russo);  the dear and devoted father of Katia Altieri, Antonio Tranfaglia, Franco Tranfaglia, Rita Sabbey, Carolina Lucchetti and the late Giovanni Tranfagla; the devoted brother of Ersilia Giangregorio of Italy and the late Teresina Martiniello, Palmina Bocchino, and Amalia DeLuca; the loving "Nonno" of Daiven and Kason Savarino.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Carmine's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, July 14, 2025 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. with a service to follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m.  Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.  Contributions in Carmine's memory to Kitty Connection, 6 Cudworth St., Medford, MA 02155 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
