CUMMINGS, Carl N. "Roger" of North Reading, formerly of Stoneham and Everett, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after being in failing health.  He was 77 years old.  Roger was born in Everett and lived here for many years before moving to Stoneham and finally settling in North Reading.  He was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Engineering and worked in engineering at Raytheon until retirement. The son of the late John and Emily (Marks) Cummings;  the beloved husband of Marilou E. (Favata) Cummings;  the dear and devoted father of Sean P. Cummings and his wife, Elizabeth of Saugus; the loving grandfather of Zachary and Molly Cummings; and brother of the late John, Allan, Gordon Cummings and Jeanne Mueller. Roger will be dearly missed by Philip and Eileen Favata and their family.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Roger's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Wednesday, October 4, 2023  from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a funeral home prayer service at 1 p.m.    Services will conclude with the U.S. Marine Corps presenting Military Honors. Interment services are private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carl's memory to the Jimmy Fund, P.O.
