COURAGE, Barbara Ann of Andover entered into eternal rest in the Lawrence General Hospital after a brief illness.  She was 86 years old.  Born in Everett, Barbara worked at the Harvard Community Health Plan in Medford as an administrative assistant for many years. She was an avid reader.  One of her favorite pastimes was watching Jeopardy and having the ability to know the final Jeopardy answer. Barbara also enjoyed  doing crossword puzzles in her spare time. She was the dear daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Powers) Courage; the dear and devoted mother of Michael Courage of Everett, Judith Silverio and her husband, Robert of Exeter, NH and Louis Courage and his wife, Teresa of FL and NY; devoted sister of George Courage, Keith Courage and the late Bruce Courage; the loving grandmother of Nicole Elliott and her husband, Alex, Michael Courage and his wife, Am, Nicholas Courage, Christopher Courage, Sarah Silverio and her husband, Jacob Wood, Laura Silverio, Sam Capparelli, and Miranda Capparelli; and the loving great-grandmother of 3 great- grandchildren.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
