Assunta was born in Orsogna, Italy and lived in Everett for many years. Beloved wife of Nicolo' Antonelli for over 63 years. Dear and devoted mother of Maria Giggie and her husband, David of Everett and Liliana Hiatt and her husband, Thomas of Endicott, NY. Sister of the late John and Nicola DiRico and Ida Rizzacasa. Loving grandmother of Stacy Giggie and her spouse, Jacquelyn Behenna, Stephen Giggie and his wife, Dena, Nicole Giggie, Nicholas Hiatt and Amanda Hiatt. Loving great-grandmother of Noah Ii, Tamina Hiatt and Sophia Giggie. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Assunta's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Friday, Aug. 26 from 4-8 p.m. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 10 a.m. Late member of the Orsogna Women's Club of Everett.
