Antonio Florindi of Millis, formerly of Everett, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in his home at the age of 86.

Born in the town of Citta Sant' Angelo in Abruzzo, Italy he was the son of the late Gabriele and Ida (Muffo) Florindi.

He migrated to the United States 1965 to work as a tailor in many different clothing factories, but once he was settled in Everett, he owned and operated Tony the Tailor from 1971 to 1974; Tony's Clothing from 1974 to 1985 and Florindi Fashions from 1985 until his retirement in 2001. He was a meticulous, driven, and detailed business owner and took pride in all aspects of his work.

Antonio loved to travel with his wife to the beaches of Aruba and Turks & Caicos, as well as visit his family in Italy. He was an avid soccer fan and enjoyed watching and listening to the Inter Milan Soccer games, especially with his friends.

Antonio is survived by his beloved wife of over 54 years Filomena (Carota) Florindi, his son Anthony Florindi and his wife Sandra of Norfolk, and his grandchildren Olivia and Marcus Florindi. He is also survived by his brother Enrico Florindi and his wife Pasqualina, his sisters Leda Florindi, and her husband Ferruccio and Enza Florindi, as well as many nieces and nephews all in Italy. He will also be missed by the many longtime friends, neighbors, and customers he made in the 49 years he lived and worked in Everett.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Antonio's life on Friday, May 10th at 11:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Parish 38 Oakes Street Everett. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Versailles Mausoleum. The family will welcome visitors to  Cafasso & Sons, 65 Clark Street,(Corner of Main Street), Everett, on Thursday, May 9th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.  Parking with attendants on duty.
