Obituary

RUGGIRIO, Angelo J. of Methuen, formerly of Malden and Everett, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at home in Methuen. Born in East Boston, Angelo lived in Everett and Malden for many years before settling in Methuen with his daughter, Angela and her family.  He worked for many years as a machinist in machine shops. Beloved husband of the late Antonetta "LaLa" (Voto) Ruggirio.  Dear and devoted father of Margaret Riordan and her husband, Paul of Billerica, Angela Pesce and her husband, Natale of Methuen, Diane Fortier of Everett and Anthony R. Ruggirio and Deborah Greenwood of Bow, NH.  Brother of  Anthony Ruggiero of Revere, Agostino Ruggiero of Malden, Frank Ruggiero of Winthrop and the late Theresa Cocozza and Vincent Ruggiero.  Angelo is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and  6 great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Angelo's visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, May 7 from 4-8 p.m.  His funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment with U.S. Navy military honors at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Late U. S. Navy Veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict and late member of the Malden DAV and VFW. Contributions in Angelo's memory to  New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108 would be sincerely appreciated.  Parking with attendants on duty.
